Brisbane’s Lucid Safari combines classic indie rock with dreamlike textures, creating a sound that is anthemic, melodic, and dynamic. Frontman Daniel J. Lewis, bassist Alex Cremin, and drummer Nic Ross welcomed a fresh face to the band’s lineup in 2026: keys player Issy Morrison.

Lucid Safari’s latest release “Crash” (2026) continues to earn high praise. Collaborating with producers Blake Malone and Graham Ritchie, “Crash” is adrenaline, unpredictability, and the strange clarity that comes from chaos.

Building on previous momentum, “Something More” (2024) captured national attention, taking out the number 1 spot on the Queensland OzIndi Top 50, and hit a milestone of more than 90,000 streams on Spotify. Earlier releases “When You Go” (2024) and “Always On My Mind” (2022) charted on the AMRAP metro charts and earned high rotation on USA’s KXFM radio.

From sold out shows in their hometown of Brisbane; to festival slots; to sharing stages with the likes of Ian Moss, Kate Miller-Heidke, and British India; Lucid Safari continue to cut their teeth on the live circuit.
