OPENING ACT: BLAK:STORY:SONG

BLAK:STORY:SONG is an intimate 'songwriters' in the round' style concert series curated by Yalanji artist Deline Briscoe of Gaba Musik, which began in 2021. The series showcases intergenerational Indigenous and First Nations artists sharing their original music and truth telling and cultural stories. BLAK:STORY:SONG also provides a space for emerging artists to be mentored by established singer-songwriters. Jamming and spontaneous collaboration are encouraged, making every concert uniquely special for the listener. Artists will be announced in the lead up to the concert on Friday 4 September. Come along for a heartwarming celebration of Indigenous and First Nation singer-songwriters, as they warm up the stage for Briscoe Sisters.
