Following on from a headline tour across the US, including a dream run with Djo, Australian rock stalwarts Pond announce their local run of Terrestrials tour dates on home soil.

Come December Pond will take to a hometown Fremantle home show, supported by Automatic, alongside Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney with further support acts to be announced, boasting an all new live show experience. Revered for their one of a kind performances and Nick Allbrook’s singular "shrieking charm" on stage and in the crowd, wherever they take to Pond “prove why it stands among the most creative and adventurous live acts in psychedelic rock today” (First Ill No Flash).

Over their recent US dates, the Chicago Music Guide noted "Pond spent the night demonstrating that psychedelic rock can be loud, contemporary, strange, danceable, and occasionally ferocious without abandoning what made the genre its own thing in the first place.” The upcoming Australian shows land in support of Pond’s recent album Terrestrials, praised as one of Rolling Stone’s Best Australian Albums of the Year to date.

Made up of Nicholas Allbrook, Jay Watson, Joseph Ryan, James Ireland, and Jamie Terry, POND was formed in 2010 in Fremantle, Western Australia. POND went from a group of musicians and friends to an internationally touring band. Today, POND boasts an impressive catalog of recorded music, spanning eleven critically-acclaimed albums.

Since its beginnings, POND’s prowess in the live arena has also been well documented. Pond has shared the stage with artists such as Flaming Lips, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, and more. They have also been on major festival lineups worldwide like Glastonbury, Coachella, Splendour in the Grass, and the Great Escape.
